On Wednesday the 28th of August the whole school went to a Marae. We were welcomed into the Marae and then we all sat down. The school council did the hongi with some of the members at the Marae. We all heard a story about a Maori man that used a stingray to get to New Zealand. Then we all had morning tea. After that, we learned a dance. Then we went outside and the year 5 and 6 boys did a haka. After that we headed back to school.
